Yup! Since wearing my CGM I see now that my cycle effects my BS. My numbers are higher the week before and the week after my cycle ends.

both are so helpful !! not everyone can afford a cgm 🥺 and I miss the data so much but I'm grateful I can finger stick ... but cgms can be off so I always need a fingerstick to verify if using a cgm

They're both important. I like the CGM because my fingers are so scarred up and can give me higher numbers because I was pricking so much. However the CGM can be temperamental as well

i’ve only been diagnosed since October and currently I’m using both and that is because for the past few days my sugar keeps tanking and we can’t figure out why my doctor has a suspicion that I’m over medicated because I got tossed around like a football, but we won’t know that till Monday

Yes! They work together to give you the entire picture. My cgm taught me that my awesome A1C was actually misleading bc I was spiking hard after dinner and dropping super quickly (reactive hypoglycemia). So, the super lows numbers were giving me a good A1C. I never would have caught that with finger sticks alone bc my bs was always back to normal at the 2 hour mark!
