I Ukraine we have stories in our folklore about upyr. That's Slavic folklore. Those are dated for hundreds of years before Irish and Romanian vampires and are the roots of the stories about vampires. Thank you for your videos, they are really great 🔥

I had an old neighbor one time, he was in his nineties. He said as his first job as a boy he helped dig graves here in the Ozarks. One time they were digging a grave and came across an unmarked grave. It was an unusual casket, as it was metal and had a glass window in it. They cleaned it off and there was a beautiful woman in it, no decomposition. He said he could clearly remember her long luxurious hair. The old man that he worked far was very upset and shaken, telling him Don't look at it! Don't look at it! Now I can't remember what he said they did with it. Did they lay the new casket on top of it or dig a new spot? I can't remember. Oh and the graveyard was from way before the Civil War.
