Thank you for this I am at this point in my life and it’s so hard, holding it together for my son and starting over with nothing is not easy but we are safe and we are going to be better than okay but it’s a blessing to know that when you need it the most the extra help is there again Thank you for this 🙏 as a survivor it means the world just to know that you are not alone

i slowly moved out while he was out with friends or when he had work if he even had a job. his grandmother who lived their gave me the idea and supported me the whole way through

I left with nothing but my clothes and I use to be so embarrassed when friends would ask why my apartment was completly empty. 🥹 It seems impossible now but one day you will look back and be amazed at how strong you were it becomes your secret strength.
