A tip for anyone learning how the Japanese actually speak on a day to day basis (including greetings swearing and flirting) I recommend a book on Amazon (also on Etsy I think) called ‘real Japanese - mastering slang & street talk’. By Alex DuPont. It has deffo been the most helpful book in my opinion so I thought I’d put you on! Once you understand these words and phrases, you can start listening to the music and films and you’ll understand SO MUCH MORE and quickly too 🇯🇵

im learning japanese right now learning hiragana is pretty easy katakana is easy too i think you could learn hiragana in 2 weeks maximum i recommend writing 5 letters per day so あ い え う お in the first day write them down 5 times and everytime you write it pronounce it too after you done that do your lessons on your apps. i use teuida its mostly based on speaking i learn writing myself. goodluck on learning🥹
