Do you have SVT? The procedure or surgery you had is called a catheteral ablation and I’ve never heard of you being awake that’s so scary. I was put to sleep for mine and no way I would have allowed them to do it awake 😳 hell nah

I had to have an ep study too, all I had was general anaesthetic so i was fully awake and aware. It's so scary yet. feel for you!

this sounds similar to what happened to me (3 times to the hospital) every time i get the most awful feeling but they’ve never been able to find anything wrong with ecg or bloods but they have not run any extra tests! Glad you found out what was wrong

My brother died from ARVC when he was 13. We had no idea he had it and never had any symptoms leading up to it. His autopsy showed his heart was the size of his entire chest. We have since never found anyone else in the family who also have it.

I had a a angiogram which is very similar to an ep study were u are awake and they go through ur wrist or groin for me they tried my wrist and the wire got stuck and then they had to go through my groin but omg I was so scared I felt like I was going to dye worst experience of my life and I just had a traumatic birth of my son and my angiogram was worse, the fact u are awake is the worse and my light sedation wasn’t enough either
