If you truly can't love yourself being in a relationship with him ...the best option is to co- parent in the healthiest way possible but end the romantic relationship.

I feel like one thing that was missing in this conversation is understanding why she feels that way. When someone says “this person loves me, but it’s keeping me from loving myself,” that’s not something you just skip over. That’s something you pause on and really ask questions about. What does that look like for her? What is happening in that relationship that makes her feel disconnected from herself?

Having kids doesn’t always make you leave especially when the person wouldn’t allow you to. Your heart be so confused sometimes. It’s like you want to leave for the kids but you also don’t want to leave because you feel like that’s your person but he really isn’t
