@sierradyar_: Watching @Taylor Paul this season has been like looking into a rearview mirror at a version of myself I worked so hard to outrun. People see the ‘toxic’ traits and the drama, but some of us see the ‘gut cry’ of a woman trying to fill a void left by the person who should have chosen her first. I’ve been in that draining, soul-sucking love. I’ve felt that ‘not-enough-ness’ that makes you cling to red flags because you’re terrified of being alone with your own silence. Watching Taylor isn’t ‘entertainment’ for me. I’ve been in that cycle that makes you lose yourself. People see the ‘toxic traits,’ but I see the core wound of a daughter who was never ‘chosen’ by her father. That void makes you stay when you should run. It makes you cry until it physically hurts. I’ve been that woman who got so wrapped up in a man that I disappeared and made a lot of mistakes. I pray she finds her worth within herself, because no man can fill a hole left by a deadbeat parent. Seeing her gut-cry ‘it hurts’ isn’t entertainment to me; it’s a trigger of a pain only those who’ve been there understand. I don’t see a ‘lifestyle’ to envy. I see a woman who needs to find her own worth so she can stop letting go of herself. Tay, I believe in you. Do this for your kids and for yourself. I’m praying for you so hard.
