@deep_sea.th: Regalecus glesne, commonly known as the giant oarfish, is the longest bony fish in the world. It lives in the deep ocean, usually at depths of about 200 to 1,000 meters. This mysterious fish has a long, ribbon-like silver body and a bright red crest that runs along its head and back. Giant oarfish can grow more than 8 meters long, but they are rarely seen because they live far below the surface. Most sightings happen when they are sick, dying, or washed ashore. Because of their unusual shape and rare appearances, they are often linked to sea serpent legends. They mainly feed on plankton, small crustaceans, and tiny fish, drifting vertically through the water to hunt. Despite their large size, they are harmless to humans #fish #ocean #ทะเล #ฟีดดดシ
