Ya'll worried about dipping your nails in a container other people's nails have been dipped in but y'all realize putting nail polish on using the same brush that's been put on someone else's nails is literally the same thing?🤷♀️

Is it me or do dip nails just feel so unsanitary? Client after client just dipping their fingers in the same little jar

I love dip nails. I like that they take them off every time so I can see the health of my natural nails and make sure nothing weird is going on with them. With acrylics you can’t do that bc they just fill them every time. I also feel that dip is less damaging when they take it off vs acrylics.

I love dip. I don’t like the traditional acrylics. I hate the buildable gel, they look weird when filled and are horrible to remove.

I’ve never heard anything about nutrients… I just get them instead of gel because they always last 3-4 weeks and gel does not. I don’t get acrylic sets because my nails are long enough on their own. I’m after whatever polish gets me 3-4 weeks between visits 🤷♀️

Girl the difference is that they SOAK off and acrylic nails don’t. Thats the reason we like them is we’re not forced to RIP them off when it’s time for a new set. 🙄

I’ve never heard they added anything. I just know it keeps me from biting my nails so it’s a win for me.

I’ve been saying this since they started this business! I also am honest when people ask the healthiest thing for your nails…. Is plain. Nothing on them! There’s no such thing as healthy polish/dip/acrylic/gel etc!

Dip is a finer acrylic powder used to absorb into the resin as opposed to using nail liquid. If proper sanitation and protocols are used, they are great. There are pros and cons to all different forms of enhancements.

Are people really dipping their nails into powder that other people have put their fingers into? At my salon, you buy an individual container of powder that only you use and you keep it. There’s enough product in it for several applications, so you can use it again the next time you want that color. Same with the base coat. I thought all salons did it this way!

Exceeeeptttt…you cannot soak off acrylic nails with acetone. Dip is close to acrylics, but not the same thing. Dip is safer. No picking back just soak
