I had one that went into my heart for antibiotic infusions this past summer due to a staph infection on my tricuspid valve. It was annoying and inconvenient but it allowed my body to heal and for me to get back to normal. Wishing you the best in your journey and sending you encouragement on your hardest days. 🥰

You can actually get TPN through a peripheral IV, we've got different ones marked "peripheral" and "central" at my unit, main difference is the peripheral ones are a lot less nutrient dense than the central ones. For example our most common peripheral bag is 800Kcal for 1221ml
