I was 13 when I read the words "you can't try to walk, you walk or you don't walk". I didn't fully understand what it meant until I was 17. I had run away from home and I knew that I had to do it, not try. That lesson stayed with me my entire life. I taught my children this lesson. 💕

But it's not always easy for some to do it. Luke gave up not because he couldn't do it. But because his way of thinking was it can't be done. This is why Yoda said Luke was to old. His head was full and had he learned as a child, he would not have had to unlearn what he has learned. I was 4 years old in 1980 when Empire Strikes Back came out and born in 1977 the same year Star Wars first came out. It was waiting for me to be born and interpet it to others.

I understand the logic of this quote by Yoda, but in the reality of existence, there are things that take several attempts, or tries, before we can do, what we are wanting to get done. Try is usually a word used when we fail when doing. I guess we could say if we are continuing to try, we are doing our best.
