Fashion isn’t fun anymore because people care too much about what everyone else is doing instead of just buying and wearing what they like. Who cares if everyone has them? What matters is making yourself happy. Everyone wears jeans but that’s not a reason to not want a nice pair. ☺️

More people have the classic cream/black ballets and slingbacks but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get them either. They’re classics. Plus it’s Blazy’s debut as Chanel’s artistic director and it’s a big deal even if he’s there for half the time as Karl was, it’s huge! I think it’s more of a collector thing 🫶🏼

Some people (who admire some of Chanel’s history) bought them because they’re a clear indication of the shift in creative direction for the brand. Maybe people gravitated towards these because they’re truly a singular shoe based from chanel’s history and this two-tone effect hasn’t really been done anywhere (? - not sure) or as interesting as Matthieu did with this one. This doesn’t reference his Bottega past too.

I think they’re cute, but pony hair is notoriously hard to keep looking good, you start rubbing those shoes and you’re gonna have bald spots on them 😭

I have the classic chanel ballerinas, they’re THW MOST UNCOMFORTABLE SHOES I own. They’re the best shoes to get ingrown toenails, not worth the hype, if you want pricey ballerinas get repettos, those at least fit like a glove once you break them in.

I was close to get them but for the price point I think they are too sensitive and pretty hard to style … actually I prefer to put my money into classics colors. And yes social média ruin everything each Time a new thing go on trend it’s an overdose I agree… to the fact that you get the need to get something that doesn’t suit or that we don’t need for our « normal Life » as these pony hair ballerinas 🤷🏻♀️
