During the Taiping Rebellion there is the 2nd Opium War that is also happening.. that is why Qing Dysnaty weaken. what's weird is that France and Britain helped Qing Dynasty because of the trading.. silk and tea.. while the rebels opposed the legalization of drugs. Then after this this os the rise of the blasphemous era of christianity which alienated every missionaries that visit China..
