My greatest regret is that when my mother passed away last December, I didn’t allow myself to grieve. I held back my tears and forced myself to stay strong, so my family especially my father wouldn’t feel even more broken. But now, I realize I needed that moment to cry too.

Literally me not crying at my lolo’s funeral, but now I cry every night, grieving his loss and knowing that he died before I could achieve anything. He passed away just a month before my completion ceremony🙁
