This is a video I wish I had 3 years ago when I was trapped in chronic cycles of self improvement / self destruction. What needed to change was not any one habit, but the way I talked to myself. Took me years (and I’m still working on it) but when I altered the tone and flavor of my own inner voice, I stopped rebelling against myself through psychological civil war, and started asking myself what it was I actually needed in the moment. Then, usually, I would start to write.
