A leader who cares about their employees makes a difference. I understand what you're saying about the business climate being different but I also believe that it's no excuse for not applying full effort & completing a task to the very best of your ability. Taking pride in your own work, whatever it might be & professionalism especially when dealing with the public is essential.

I tell people that a two week notice is insane. Why do we owe them that? I have literally had jobs where we got to the end of the day, and the gathered everyone together and said good job, go home, we are closed as of now.

Ok Simon…. I did and saw this in healthcare… we are not wrong.::. We did it all with no appreciation and no recognition for all the committees and classes.. then there was “COVID”..now that we won’t do “extra” we are frowned upon… what do we do next???
