there’s no widely accessible or widely manufactured supercharger kits that i have found made for this car except for one that went for $9k (i have seen some people use svt superchargers tho), the other thing is the factory ecu’s on an ls400 typically cannot be tuned and you need to purchase a stand alone ecu to use in its place, the ls400 isn’t a good performance option unless you have stupid money

You can make 400 in these and they still wouldn’t be fast. They’re heavy, and have a slush box for a transmission

No not all 1UZs make 290. 90-94 models make 250 hp, 95-97 make 260. It wasn’t until 1998 they added VVT-I and that gave it the 290 rating.
