I think this can be any narcissist, not just a female, but OK. Narcissist tend to play the victim mentality so this feels like some reverse psychology.

1. It’s not that every disagreement becomes your fault—it’s that when I feel hurt, I need you to actually hear me. Sometimes I get overwhelmed and it comes out like blame, but it’s really me trying to be understood, not attack you. 2. I don’t dismiss your feelings on purpose. I think sometimes I get defensive because of how I grew up. I wasn’t taught how to handle emotions in a healthy way, so when things get intense, I shut down or react instead of responding the right way. 3. I’m not trying to rewrite conversations. I think we honestly remember things differently sometimes, and because of my past, I can get confused or triggered and hold onto what I felt more than exactly what was said. 4. If I act different in public, it’s not to fake anything. Sometimes I just try to keep things together around other people because I don’t like conflict being out in the open. 5. I’m not trying to punish you for setting boundaries. I think sometimes when you do, it hits my own fears of being pushed away or not being enough, and I react badly instead of handling it maturely. 6. If you feel smaller or confused, that’s not something I want at all. I know I come with a lot from my past, and I’m still trying to work through it. I’m not perfect, but I’m trying. 7. I don’t expect grace without giving it back. I just know I need it sometimes because of everything I’ve been through. But I hear you, and I know I need to do better at giving that same understanding to you too.
