"A better paying job?". If that job serves my interest as much as this one does then it means the only difference is the pay. I will submit a plea of negotiation to my manager to see if my pay can be adjusted here. Even if it is by a lower compensational percentage I will not leave for the new one because the cost of adjusting to the new environment, settling in etc will consume a substantial amount of my time which will also cost me of my progressive growth in the long run.
