This isn’t just a “before and after” about weight. That woman in the first photo had already survived breast cancer and had two major surgeries that year alone. The cancer was gone, but I still didn’t feel well. I was exhausted. I hurt. I felt inflamed, uncomfortable, heavy, and disconnected from my own body. I remember looking in the mirror and thinking, Is this just how I’m going to feel now? Fast forward to today… and I barely recognize that version of me. Changing the way I eat didn’t erase what I went through, and I would never claim food treated my cancer. But what I started eating afterward changed how I feel living in this body. Since going carnivore, I’ve lost 60 pounds. My energy came back. My everyday aches have dramatically improved. My blood sugar numbers improved. I move easier. I feel stronger. I smile more. And for the first time in a very long time, I actually feel excited about being in my own skin. The physical transformation is obvious. But the biggest change isn’t something you can see in these two pictures. It’s waking up and wanting to LIVE my life instead of simply getting through another day. I went through something that changed me forever. And somewhere along the way, I found a version of myself I thought I had lost. Maybe she was never gone.
