I disagree. I think more people are attending auctions to get a car cheaper and are over paying as a result because they are going for ownership as opposed to flipping it.

My husband doesn’t buy from the auction anymore, he buys them all off the street from the people who own them. It’s a lot of foot work to do but they make a lot more money doing it that way and less work that they need to put in the used vehicles

I got 3 calls last week looking to purchase my truck from dealers, it’s not forsale I haven’t shopped for a new truck. Just cold calls which tells you prices are goin up and we are going back to how the market was a few years back.

Exact opposite here in the southeast. I am seeing dealers cut prices on new and used during tax time, which is abnormal. Market is softening.

I had a 2018 Pacifica Limited 58k, Carvana sent me an email that value went up over 5k. I ran to my local dealer, traded it and they matched trade in offer.

Buddy it’s March. I’ve seen it 31 times this year and it’s always been the same. Cars go up in March. Level off by April 10th and dip a little by the end of April.
