Creamy Jambalaya-Style Orzo 🌶️ This was one of those recipes I just made up as I went along. And it ended up amazzzzzing. Ingredients * Andouille sausage, sliced * 1 red bell pepper, diced * 1 green bell pepper, diced * ½ yellow onion, diced * Celery, diced * Minced garlic * 1 can fire-roasted diced tomatoes * Tony Chachere’s seasoning * Garlic powder * Chicken bouillon powder or paste * 1 can Campbell’s White Cheddar Soup * Orzo * Water Directions Slice your andouille sausage and sear in a large pan until nicely browned. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, add the red and green bell peppers and onion. Season to taste with Tony Chachere’s and garlic powder, then sauté until the vegetables begin to soften. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Return the sausage to the pan. Add the fire-roasted tomatoes and scrape up all those browned bits from the bottom. Sprinkle in a couple tablespoons of chicken bouillon powder (or add bouillon paste) and about 1 can of water. Stir everything together and let simmer for roughly 30 minutes. Add the Campbell’s White Cheddar Soup and stir until everything is creamy and well combined. Pour in roughly 1 cup of water and bring to a gentle boil. Add your orzo, along with enough additional water for the pasta to cook. Let simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat, cover, and let the residual heat finish cooking the orzo. You don’t want to overcook it—it’ll continue soaking up that creamy sauce as it sits. Serve hot and enjoy 🤍 #TaylorToTaste #Dinner #Foodie #Fyp #Pasta
