I am a non-domicile truck driver with around 10 years of experience. I have a clean record with no violations or tickets, and I can speak English well. Not all non-domicile drivers are the same. Most drivers are skilled, responsible, and safe. Only a small number may have language issues, but the majority drive professionally and do not cause accidents. The cancellation of non-domicile licenses is creating serious problems. Many trucking companies are facing a driver shortage, and their trucks are sitting idle while expenses like insurance and payments continue. This is putting a lot of stress on business owners who have worked hard for many years. I respectfully request the government to reconsider this decision. Instead of canceling licenses, an English test can be required. Drivers who pass the test should be allowed to keep or receive their CDL, and those who fail should not qualify. This would be a fair and effective solution
