I'm glad you got your account back. Sometimes TikTok works backward, because it lets things through that shouldn't be allowed, while restricting normal content. I hope they realized they were wrong and apologize to you. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bad actors, ...and the many ill-willed people who report things also have an effect on this.

My friend went through this. She finally went through a slow process where she supplied a photo of her drivers license to show she was 26. They lifted the restriction finally. 2 days later she was restricted again for under 13. They explained to her even though her age is verified as 26 the auto moderation will restrict the account if it thinks you look under 13. She been battling this for over a year
