If your bowl gets hot enough to the point that you can’t grab it from inside the microwave, it is not microwave safe and you should not be using it inside of there. Any dish put inside the microwave should not come out piping hot. They are literally designed so they don’t heat up like that in the microwave if they are supposed to be microwave safe. If you have to use that thing to grab your bowl, you should not be using that bowl in the microwave. Common sense.

I actually worked great for the microwave. But pulling a dish out of a hot oven, they melt..
