I LOVE my new build! The fact I have a clean canvas to make it my own, I love! I genuinely smile looking at it and being in it everyday 😂 I definitely regret some purchases where I rushed to buy stuff but that’s ok, as it’s about learning what our style is so I don’t see it as a negative!xx

I’ve lived in 5 homes as an adult, from Victorian period up to now in a new build. This house is hands down the best of them all. All of our older houses came with many maintenance costs, one in particular was an absolute money pit. Here, I won’t need to replace anything for a very long time, and my heating bill is the lowest it’s ever been 🫶🏻

I’ve got a new build and the my most favourite thing about it is the fact that it’s mine. I can decorate it however I like, the character it has is my character!! It’s a safe place for my little boy to feel the most comfortable as it’s his home too!! And my absolute most favourite thing after 5 years of living here is the love and laughter that fills my perfect little home!! Your home is beautiful!! But the memories you make there are going to be priceless 🩷 x

I’m living in an old Victorian cottage and whewwwww has it been a labour of love. It’s taken a long time to sort all the awkward DIY bits it’s been so worth it.

Such a good perspective in the same nearly a year in and I pick it apart but ultimately there’s pros and cons to old and new houses. Personally for me living alone a new build was the easiest option. It’s a blank canvas you can change and it doesn’t need to be rushed .. I haven’t even started on my downstairs bathroom! The cracks are annoying me at the minute but easily fixed

I moved into my new build in October and I love it! I love that it’s all new, no one’s touched the walls so no stripping endless layers of wallpaper!! it’s a bare canvas that’s mine☺️☺️xxx

we love love love our new build ✨ so practical with so much storage already built in!!! i think having a blank canvas is a positive cos you can just make it your own with your own taste, your own style etc. Rome wasn’t built in a day girly & the end result will be so so worth it xx

We love our new build but I also went through this phase recently. I definitely struggled through our first winter. But I love the blank canvas and I’m proud of our home. Been seeing your videos for a while, you’re really good at decorating and detail! It looks so homely!
