I wish America would invest in train infrastructure. I’d love to be able to travel the US by train if only it were more like Europe or Asia. Fast, reliable, safe, affordable and available everywhere. Not just for a trip across the US with very limited stations, amenities and long travel times- for the price of a first class airfare. 😅❤️Maybe someday Amtrak. It would be cool.

I’m all for it but we need to improve the railways, the speed, and the price. For all the commenters here, don’t forget that airline lobbyists fight against these things. Call your elected officials and ask for more transit options!

I would vote for someone campaigning in support of European style rail systems. Expanding access, providing jobs, helping the environment, bringing back steel production, allowing struggling auto manufacturers to build cabins… so much good could come from it if done correctly

Guysss the more we ride, the more they can do. Last year was their best year in history, and it can continue. Also vote for people that support rail expansion. If they receive even a fraction of the funding our national highways receive we’d be in a totally different place with our national passenger rail network.
