It's ignorance for people to think Jesus never proclaimed to be God, all because they never seen him say verbatim "I am God." He tells us his true nature numerous times but they not listening. Let's start Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” who has the kind of authority to do such a thing but God? exhibit B John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him and apart from him not even on thing came into being that has come into being." the Word of God that is God existed before existence, uncreated and eternal how does this relate to Jesus? Well...v14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we saw his glory glory as of the only son from the father full of grace and truth."
