Ya'll are always talking about divesting from problematic corporations but mad at someone creating the infrastructure to actually do that. I fw this, and as someone who's worked in fashion and lived and traveled in 65 countries putting money in the pockets of small businesses is community development. That's doing work and it's easy to criticize, it's hard to do work.

or.. we stop buying shitt we dont need. i get the idea but in the end small business doesn't mean they are better. they can still use bad factories and fabrics, the fact that they create products already is bad on its own. the only thing you can really do is just dont buy unintentionally and balance it. we all enjoy pretty things and fun, but with everything there is a balance, buy less, pick what your truly like and cherish it as long as you can
