@s3essentials: Being told your ferritin is “normal” but you still feel exhausted every single day isn’t talked about enough… 🫠 #ferritin #lowiron #womenshealth #healthtok #chronicfatigue
Anyone else have crazy iron/b12 deficiency regardless of how much meat/high iron veggies/fruit you eat?

I've received my medical records, including blood tests. I've found that when doctors say normal, they neglect to mention elevation or deficiency of various metals/proteins/etc, even when they're outside of normal range. and I don't mean a little

NHS will always wait until an emergency happens to action. There’s no prevention culture.

Normal is ‘NHS normal range’ aka not an urgent intervention requirement so ask for a copy of them and research yourself

these normal values are for men ! i really wonder when they really study women's body. my doctor told me same thing I did not listen I directly went to buy ferritin and vitamin d after 10 day I started to feel better . I couldn't take stairs in my home

Vitamin D deficiency can be a reason for low energy/feeling sad and it’s not tested on regular blood tests unless you ask. Same for cortisol.

Stress at work and then stressing about work at home just to do it all again tomorrow. Stressing about emails, people’s attitudes, pointless stuff making us tired and drained

Always ask for a paper copy/electronic copy of your results!. My doctor marked one result as "normal no action", but when I checked I was very deficient!.
