I have noticed moderate level of hair loss. My part is widening and the crown of my head is a lot thinner that it was. I started 8 months ago. Patch and oral progesterone. Will it get worse? Considering stopping. Please help

I started estrogen about five weeks ago. I stopped for a week and then started again, and I still haven’t had any side effects. After being without estrogen for about four years, feeling “normal” again has been a little strange — but I’m embracing it because I want a better life. I also take testosterone at night, and the combination with the estradiol patch has helped me sleep so well. Getting 7–8 hours of sleep has been one of the biggest positives. When I first started, my blood pressure did elevate about once a week, but it’s back to normal now. As long as it doesn’t stay elevated every day, things are good. I hope my experience helps someone else who’s starting hormone therapy. Overall , I’m feeling hopeful, more balanced, and grateful for the improvements. Even though your blood pressure came back down, it’s still a good idea to mention this pattern to your healthcare provider. They can help make sure everything stays in a safe range while your hormones settle. But the way you’re listening to your body, noticing changes, and embracing the good — that’s powerful.

I'll be 58 and just started hrt almost 2 months ago. I've noticed that I get cramping in my legs and feet especially at night. Now I can't sleep sometimes because of the leg cramps 😩🤦🏽♀️((SIGHHHH))

I still have all my reproductive parts.. all functional. However bloodwork showed I was in peri, I had 0 testosterone and showed a lot of symptoms related to peri.. night sweats, inner ear itch, shoulder lock, headaches, you name it… so dr started me on the patch and progesterone. A few days in I noticed my bladder urgency at night when I laid down. I ignored it for as long as possible until finding myself in the er on two separate occasions due to UTIS please help.

I’ve been on it for 14 months estrogen/progesterone and DHEA. I’ve noticed I’ve had some ankle/feet swelling on and off and just saw something that this could be a side effect. Is that true?
