$700 rv, $6-800 space rent, $200 propane in winter, $100 insurance, $$$$ for a truck to pull it. Houses are cheaper. Been there done that

We own our property. We pay $400/month for our camper. $200 electric. $35/water. $100/wifi. if we go on vacation, we rent a truck to pull it. Sooo… It’s cheaper!

That doesn't include the space you pay to put your trailer at and the expense it cost to fix everything that breaks in those trailers. My dog house is built better then some of those trailers

Wife and I are trying this out traveling the country. RV is around 375 a month and truck is 500. Both with really good warranties and insurance. Think I’m really going to enjoy this.

I currently do this. $410 for camper note and insurance per month. Then $900 for campground/wifi/ electricity. Equals $1310. Most “decent” apartments/homes don’t start out to around $1500/mo before electricity or anything. And with a camper, if anything breaks… it’s cheaper than a home. Highly recommend.

I see a lot of comments that are negative and I will just put it out here on what I pay now and what a mortgage looks like. 500 a month for my camper (payed off early) 600 for a full cover place to park it and propane does not cost but maybe 120 to fill it and due to us previously living in a house we pay for storage which is 99 so about 1320 in total to buy a normal house 3b/2b avg where I live is 250-300k which is a 2k+ mortgage it is cheaper to live in a camper in this day and age

reliable truck to pull it payment , Insurance, Camper payment, lot rent , camper repairs that the dealership doesn't cover or when insurance runs out on camper . If you are new to living in a camper you have no idea what u r getting into because they are not meant to live in and the detearate faster . You also got to have the roof done every few years also. Dont forget the ac and heat are shit in them units
