All for it too much emphasis on sports now days we value our family time with our kids we do spring/summer softball and then have our off season being fall do the pumpkin patches fall festivals and all those fun things of the season love this take ❤️

We don’t do spring and summer sports and it’s the best. We do stuff on the weekends as a family or do camping trips. It’s the best.

4 kids in our family who play both soccer & baseball and we take winter & summer off and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made! Prioritizing rest & family time is so important here. No regrets

We always did that late November through December. It got dark earlier and we called it “the season of rest.” We ate dinner by candle light, fires in the fireplace, enjoyed Christmas lights. We minimized outside events big time during the holiday season.

This is so interesting, and I do similar, but we don’t do many activities in the fall. It’s my favorite season for family activities and I want my kids to have a slower pace when returning to school

As a teacher, sports have gotten completely out of hand. I have students who travel for sports nearly every single weekend. They are injuring themselves, they have no time for homework or for play.
