We got updates that take an actual 4 hours. Pays like 1.3. Honda knows it rakes that long and they aint changing it. Might be time to leave

I think people here are thinking they are super diag techs doing the easy diagnosis like ac brakes and suspension. Meanwhile i was doing advanced electrical diagnosis like can network issues and writers were saying an hour diagnosis is all they can get.

Went from 60-80 hours a week doing bumper to bumper then I got master certified and started getting nothing but diag. Now only flagging 30-40 hrs a week

that's why the shop I work at pays hourly. I think the minimum of tech makes is $25 an hour. the diagnosticians make 45. everybody gets 45 hours a week with 5 hours of that being overtime. if you get through 30 hours of work in a week you get a two or three dollar per hour bonus. certifications get you raises. it's really nice to keep it stable
