I think brands like Refy, Rhode and others have just taken over Glossier’s market and customer base. Glossier hasn’t moved with the times and it shows now

i‘ll die on the hill, that glossiers biggest mistake of becoming bigger was, that they didn‘t gave their customer worldwide full access to their line. it was us only for such a long time - especially when their products were booming, that by the time they opened up the order process for other countries, other make up brands established themselves in the worldwide market & peoples heads. so because glossiers product line was so reduced there was no place where they covered a niche / a „pain point“ in ones make up need.

The minute Emily Weiss left and they reformulated the KEY PRODUCTS, I knew it was gonna go downhill. I started buying in 2017, I was LOYAL, and the changing of the OG products was a betrayal.

Absolutely baffling that their approach is going to be to cut products whilst they're launching a 5th perfume. I don't necessarily disagree that refining their product range would do them good (there are some stinkers in there), but this feels muddled. Hands off my Stretch foundation. 😭

The problem with glossier is that because the CEO changes so often the brand philosophy is kind of rough right now and they don’t seem to understand what the customers want and our choosing profit over community. That will be there demise😔

Heaaaaavy on the just wanting to buy something, when I finally got to visit the New York one I was scouring to buy something but they hadn’t released anything new in so long!! Gorgeous stores but that’s it 🤷🏻♀️

I’m a 2014/15 Glossier OG. I lived in NY and we would go to the showroom and there was this room you could go into, it was covered in silver and the floor was pink and so soft, they would turn off the lights and this special sound that was relaxing would play and there was a light show with it. It was my favorite.
