So 56-year-old male here been a beer weekend warrior since I I can remember. Like so many others once the pandemic hit it went from just weekends to 4 to 5 days a week again just beer I moved up to the heavier and higher alcohol percentage IPAs and just last week, I started noticing a pain in my right side right under my rib cage, and I’ve always educated myself on the dangers of alcohol and the symptoms of cirrhosis, but of course like so many other others I said it won’t happen to me and kept drinking. What concerns me now. Is this discomfort in the rib cage liver area that’s been hanging around for about a week. I was under the impression if I caught it early enough because that was the only sign that maybe I could reverse it but now I’m doing more and more research and finding out that I may not have caught it early enough and just because I’m only showing one symptom, it doesn’t mean that the rest may still appear even though I’ve stopped drinking. Been eating healthy, drinking lots of water exercising, taking supplements, which I hear help liver, but the discomfort is still there and the not knowing if it’s gonna get worse is the worst part of it all
