@jasmeentriedit: Mama Tina’s Gumbo🤠 Houstonnn!! Y’all was not gonna stop commenting about it until I gave y’all my review on Mama Tina’s gumbo & y’all know, I’m gonna be honest so here is my thoughts: The gumbo was a little watery for “my liking”. The gumbo profile was there, but it was subtle like they was holding back on the flavor. it felt like I was tasting somebody’s first time making gumbo. My seafood gumbo was full of sausage, chicken, some shrimps, and crab cluster. Was this the best gumbo I’ve had, no…but it’s definitely not the worst because I’ve had some really bad gumbos in the past. Like I said this gumbo has potential, I think if she added some more seasonings like salt, seafood seasoning (because the seafood essence was missing) Creole seasoning and more gumbo file (if she used any) this would’ve been a lot better. This could’ve passed for her regular chicken and sausage gumbo that she just tossed seafood on top. I would honestly like to see what her real version of gumbo taste like instead of his collaborative version. If I can make a suggestion on her collaborating with a business for gumbo here in Houston, I would highly recommend @mamatinasgumbo to work with @kelzkreativekitchen_ because everybody probably would’ve been talking about that gumbo has she worked with her in my opinion. Come back next year, try it out again. You said this was a test run and I thought I’d give you my feedback to help for the next time you decide to do this.
