I used to be a manager at discount tire and we did this multiple times. Some more info about the company, salesman/managers do NOT make commission and all recommendations are made for safety and or comfort. One of the few companies that actually care about their customers nowadays.

My son works for Discount Tire and he’s told me about many times they’ve stayed open after hours for single moms without another option, they re-opened at times and told me they’d never turn you away. When he first got the job at 17, didn’t finish highschool and had some trouble getting a job as he was becoming a healthier and better person, they treated him with respect, days off and company mental health therapy, supported his travel once a week for repairing traffic fines and court. And still have him and all the Christmas bonus, a fun company weekend retreat. I’ll never go anywhere else.

My local Discount Tire did that for me too when my son was 12 and we were homeless. I was there last summer now that I have a really good job and donated a set of tires for the next person who needed a little help. 🥰

I just dropped about 8 or $900 on some new tires from discount tire. I don't feel so bad about it anymore. because of this goodwill, I will never buy tires any place else.

My son works for discount tire, and they have a program for situations like this. They ALWAYS stay open late. I’ll say this about them too: the only company I know of, still regularly giving raises.

When I lived in Phoenix, I had to go to them after a blowout as I was getting off the freeway and I told the guy, “I just lost my job and literally don’t have it. Can I park my car here until I can borrow from a friend or family member?” He said, “No, we will just replace it.” Ever since then, I always go to them & make sure to leave reviews! It helps them so much.

I went to Discount Tire get a quote to replace all of my tires and the gentleman who was helping me said they could get me in at the end of the week. When we went to my car, he saw a bulge in one of them that I didn't even notice. He looked at my tire, saw the car seat in the back and said, "I can't let you leave here knowing you have a little one and that tire could explode at any moment." Replaced the tire on the spot, no wait time and no questions asked. They will forever have my business.

Discount Tire is the best! When I was a broke and alone college student out of state I got a flat tire. They patched it for free. They also dropped me off and picked me up from class so I didn’t miss my final.
