My son has always grown constantly but has slowed in the last 2 years. He has not hit puberty and will be 14 in 4 months. Is this something you are familiar with?

what if your child seems to be growing fast/ showing signs of puberty from age 7 -8? Should I be concerned and bring her in to be evaluated/ bloodwork to check hormones? my pediatrician has dismissed all of my concerns

my son just saw pedes endo bc he is 13.5 and not close to puberty. he's always been lower on the curve (15-20th) but slowed down some. his blood work is all normal and his bone age is 12.5. we suspect he has constitutional growth delay - my brother just found that out in dna. i got my period at 15 and my dad and brother both didn't hit puberty until 16

My son has been on gh for a year now, and I feel like I should have had him evaluated sooner but I always believed in the "he's small because both parents are small" from his regular pediatrician.

my oldest son is 14 and is around 5'2 he usually grows 2 in every 4 months and is smallest compared to his friends was concerned for awhile but he grew 4 in which puts him at the height I listed above. still worried about his slow onset of puberty

So thankful our pediatrician noticed my teen had dropped 10 pounds & ordered bloodwork, we found out she has hypothyroidism.

I have been tracking my now 10 year old daughter’s height and weight since birth and I highly recommend it to new parents. Every pediatrician has commented how helpful it is for them to see the history. This is her height. Her weight is similar. Dead set on the same curve her entire life.

What good does it do to evaluate the kid if you can’t change genetics if you can’t change how tall they’re gonna be regardless of the evaluation is there some sort of secret thing you could give the kid to help them grow grow taller than what we were expecting or you know if you’re able to do something about it then I guess I confuse why evaluate the kid he is what he is. He’s gonna be as tall as he gonna be sure he’s gonna be but unless if you got some magic pill or shot that can boost their height then let me know cause if you do I’ll I’ll bring my kids in cause I want them taller. It’s like everyone else
