as someone from myanmar, this looks so good!! if you ever make it again next time, i would suggest using chickpea powder instead of peanuts. you can usually find it as gram flour in indian grocery stores

is that your first time cooking Mohinga? that exactly looks like real Mohinga we usually eat at here. the gravy is good not too watery just perfect and good idea to use lotus root when banana stem ain't available. You can even sell 'em bc the quality is good enough to sell commercially. ✌️

There are different styles of Mohinga. Your Mohinga is one of authentic styles. Right toppings and ingredients. We would say that was Mawlamyaing Style.If you got boiled chick peas or chick pea powder , it would be Yangon style.And if you added chicken and chicken, that would be Mandalay style.Lotus root is exceptional but it's creative. 🥰
