@yeli.heidecker: Replying to @Mel Mel What I learned changed everything. Women’s stress levels are directly tied to the amount of stuff in their home. So I stopped waiting to feel better and started creating an environment where I actually could. We let go of over 50% of our stuff. And here’s what nobody tells you the reason cleaning feels so dreadful is because there is TOO MUCH stuff. By the time you tidy everything up you have nothing left to actually clean. Less stuff means less to manage. Better storage systems helped too — vertical space is everything, and making sure every single item has a home means putting things away takes seconds not an entire afternoon. That one decision opened the door to less debt, more peace, and a home I can actually maintain even through our hardest seasons. #minimalistwithkids #intentionalliving #SpringCleaning #clutterfree #declutteryourlife
Step 4 in the captions said we’re going to “declare a beef” and I was like YES absolutely I’ve got beef and then I realized I’m in perimenopause and that’s not what you said 😂
