@lucy.jets: this is how we explore antarctica when aboard an expedition ship. These ships are custom built to explore the polar regions, authorized by IAATO, the Antarctic Treaty, and such regulations We use Zodiac boats that are kept on the top deck and then leveled down to sea level so we can board and explore the area.
