My dad passed away 2 months before my eldest daughter was born (first granddaughter). It will be her birthday in a few days. My youngest who was an absolute surprise baby walked out of the shower last night singing the a song my dad sung nearly everyday. I’ve never sung it and neither has my husband (it’s a show tune and he hates show tunes!) I was frozen to the spot and had no words. My baby then walked up gave me a big hug, said “love you” and walked away. I sat and cried for a minute or two and said thank you to my dad, he knew I needed a message from him
