I’m so excited to see your harvest this year! 😍also can u give a tip (maybe you already did) on how you fill in your beds? I fill mines with soil and each year at the end of the season I find these big thick larvas (can’t remember the name for them) and I fear they take all nutrients from my plants

Thank you for the tip about spacing!! I’m probably going to interplant my onions this year as pest deterrents bc my seeds didn’t do great and I only have a handful. Definitely doing this next year!

trimming onions takes away a lot of their ability to photosynthesize. its really not needed. trimming is purely for stockier plants but as onions only have a small area to photosynthesize, you can slow growth by trimming.
