i have never heard this before!! no one ever told me that but i have gone through many slides as a kid and haven’t had any problems

Back in the 80s/90s they told me not to go on a metal slides... I have done it multiple times same magnet for over 30 years lol still here lol

CI girl here. yeah i tested it out back then when i was a kid. when i had it turned on i had so much static electricity but if i turned it off i wouldnt have it to crazy. i still keep it on bc its just static electricity ill be fine 🤣

Oh yeah, for sure, even the older models when I was a kid, other kids with CI would take theirs off before going in playground to prevent their processors being damaged from falls, slides, rough play, etc.

I have an implant and have NEVER had an issue... I've been shocked by 110v and it didn't do anything to the hearing aid! I feel like mine are indestructible. Have fallen into a pool, toilet, flew out the street in several car accidents.
