I will never forget the flight nurses when they walked into my son’s room to transport him. It was like a movie. The nurses had perfect blow outs and I swear they were glowing. And where did the breeze come from? It was like soap opera intro. My son was 8 at the time and asked if they were Avengers. I said yes.

I was a unit coordinator and I would be shaking in my spinny chair preparing the paperwork for them. Then a flight nurse that’s very well known in our area and respected came in and said my paperwork packet was very well organized and gave my a sticker of his helicopter. I was smiling like a fool 😂
