These Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Flatbreads are perfect for summer evenings. They’re topped with barbecue chicken, mozzarella cheese, pineapple, and red onion. This easy flatbread recipe is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or simple family meal. Ingredients Flatbreads: * 2 large naan breads * 4 tbsp BBQ sauce, plus more for drizzling * 1 1/4 cups mozzarella cheese, divided * 1/2 cup pineapple chunks, canned * Thinly sliced red onion * Grated Parmesan cheese * Chopped cilantro Chicken: * 10 oz chicken breast * 1 tsp garlic salt * 1/2 tsp paprika * 1/2 tsp onion powder * 1/4 tsp black pepper * 1 1/2 tsp oil Shortcut: Use 1 1/2 cups diced rotisserie chicken tossed with 2 tbsp BBQ sauce. Directions 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. Season the chicken with the garlic salt, paprika, onion powder, and black pepper. Drizzle with oil and toss to coat. Sear in a skillet for 3 minutes per side, then transfer to the oven and bake for 8–10 minutes or until it reaches 165°F. Let rest before dicing. 3. Spread about 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce over each naan bread. Top each with 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, half of the chicken, and another 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Divide the pineapple and red onion, then finish with a light drizzle of BBQ sauce. 4. Bake at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden. 5. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and cilantro before serving. #hawaiianbbqchicken #flatbread #bbqchickenflatbread #easydinner #weeknightdinners
