my uncle was a builder back in the day were they built the frames and trusses on site and he was so meticulous in his building if he wasn't happy it was redone . but now there's is no pride in work done . in saying that I had some Reno's done a few yrs ago and the the was a retired builder and omg was he fussy it had to be perfect in his eyes of it got redone

If you can't afford a proper inspection you can't afford to buy/build a house. Car, House, Camper van, no matter what you're buying you need it inspected so you know what you're getting.

Wish I could have you inspect my house in Tassie. It’s too late now because it got built 5 years ago. I haven’t noticed anything egregious like this, but I’d be so interested to know if there’s stuff I can’t see as a lay person. My outside render has cracked on a few places and the garage floor. I know that’s ’normal’, but I wonder if it’s a bad sign.
