You as the customer are taking responsibility on ordering through a third party you’re taking it up with the wrong company. You would take it up with the third-party you signed on to deliver your food if that delivery driver chose to keep your food. Is your responsibility to get a hold of the third-party not the restaurant the restaurant is not responsible to refund you in any type of way.

The workers are 100% right as a McDonald’s manager if we give your food to the Doordash or and they don’t bring it to you. It’s a third-party that is on Uber DoorDash Postmates whoever it is that the third-party is.

The wording is wrong. Basically, they are saying that it’s on UberEats if the food is not delivered to the customer. Sure the verification process should be better, but Taco Bell is still not legally responsible. I’m glad the employees remained professional. Even after they said they would accommodate, the customer kept going off.

he suppose to take that up with the third party meaning whoever they ordered the food through because like it is they just make the food annd if they pick it up and don’t deliver it that has nothing to do with the store that makes the food . it happens all the time unfortunately . usually if that happens you reach out whoever you made the order through , they’ll usually either give a credit or send the order back to the store so it can be remade . whoever is making the food doesn’t have responsibility on who picks up your food . talking about we throw away food all the time isn’t the case ; the proper procedure when shit like this happens you have to call whoever you made the order through and they are the ones to fix it .
