as a person on the other side of this, maybe it's just that they're having a hard time and isolating themselves, then it gets to a point where the isolation feels so comfortable or you dont know how to reach out so you just don't. or yk they're heard broken and detaching from everyone unintentionally. it's all of the above for me

I keep telling myself that we are on different life paths and not everyone will stay in your (my) life forever. And vice versa. It doesn’t take the hurt away but does help me see the bigger picture. Just in case you needed to hear something hopeful

with no reason and no telling me. her messages became passive aggressive and longer breaks even when online. I decided to send a amicable message then block and holy shit the relief I felt after. no arguments, no hostility, no waiting. it has been better since. 10 years of friendship though
